You'll want to select a company with a large nursery to choose from. We will work with you to provide a custom quote and can even provide landscape design services and tips to help you choose the best fit plants for your property. Some species require more palm tree maintenance than others and some are more vulnerable to high winds such as during hurricanes. We will let you know all the details about each species you need to know before making an educated decision. Unless of course you already know exactly what you desire!

The trick to a successful transplant is initially having the tree growing in a large container that allows ample room for the growing roots to spread while also making it easy to transport. speaking of transport, once the tree is purchased it is lifted onto a truck using a chain and fork lift, but not before wrapping to keep the branches and fronds safe from damage during the drive. The driver will take his time getting to your location so that your new tree(s) arrive in perfect condition.

A hole is dug in the ideal location while taking care to avoid any lines or pipes in the ground. The hole can be lined with fertilizer to give the plant an extra boost, but this isn't necessary. The opening needs to be deep enough to cover the base of the tree, but not too deep where it buries too much of the trunk. Supports will be added in most cases to help with stabilization until the roots take hold and keep the tree upright on its own. Lastly it will need a good watering. If you have a sprinkler system this will work perfectly. Otherwise be sure to provide daily water for the first 30 days. We will provide you with care instructions so don't worry there.
